And it begins!

The great trek!  It begins today!  You can find pictures of my army on the Crusade in 61 Days page, some of it in various stages of assembly due to me trying out a new way of painting.  If it doesn't work out, I'll just put them together.  Not a big deal, maybe an hour of work, max.

You'll also notice an un-assembled Razorback there.  Unfortunately, the previous one had an accident.  A certain Titan whom shall not be named stepped on the Emperor's vehicle when they weren't paying attention, so a replacement was brought to the lines.  In addition, there needs to be some magnet work done on the Predators.  Apparently the primer loosened up the super glue that was holding the magnets to the model, so I need to take the time to re-glue them.  For all of the weapon configurations.  That'll be a pain, so I'll probably save that for a later time.

So yeah.  Its on.  Going to try that experimental paint scheme with the black washes on one of the miniatures and see how it turns out.  If it's good, I'll use it on the rest of them.  If not, oh well.  I've already got an established scheme to use.  Also, do not expect updates on the Daily Log until the following day, as I tend to stay up far later than most people so I'll likely be working into the early morning hours.  ;)

Alright.  Time to put my nose to the grinder before I have to go to work!  :D

Great dread, I especially like the metallic weathering.

"Experimental washes" is going to be fun for me too. I've got a few to try, but I have some bolter armed Marines to try them on first and if they don't quite work...well, they are just bolter armed.

Why thank you Night Runner. I appreciate the compliment. The metallic weathering turned out pretty nice in my opinion, so I'm going to stick with it for the rest of my vehicles. :)

Lol! "Just bolter armed." They are all children of the Emperor sir! Hehe. I'm sure it'll work out for ya.
