So I've hit a wall of sorts. I cannot for the life of me, figure out what to write about in regards to the Black Templar. Well, that isn't entirely accurate. I have some ideas in mind, but I'm not sure how well they would be received. I don't want to spend the time working on an article if no one is going to read it. ;)

That means I need your help. Hit me up here with topics of conversation, subjects you'd like addressed, questions, or anything else you'd like related to the Black Templars. I've got to keep the mill going and unfortunately, a negative byproduct of the BT 101 guide is limiting my future topics of conversation. lol! So let me know what you'd like from me. Hopefully I'll get some good responses and then I can get to work on some of them.

Tutorials on tactics... but with pictures. Similar in nature to what Spacecurves has been doing on BoLS. Some examples;

Multi-charging: something that alot of players don't know how to pull off properly.

Nobz Bikers: how do you handle them with your usual list? And what other units *cough* death stars *cough* does that method generally work with...

Alpha Strike: More specifically how do you prevent it from taking out a Land Raider. And by alpha strike I mean what Danny Internet talks about in this article. The solution is obvious but it will be helpful for newer players.

Preventing outflanking units: like how do you prevent some Ork Kommandos or Wolf Scouts from coming in on the side and taking out a tank or three.

Deployment: Bigdunc was trying to help with developing skills with deployment on BnC. Could do something similar. But instead use your usual list. Then take some lists off YTTH, 3++ or any other website and show how you would deploy against it on different tables.

Explain the logic behind your deployment. Can relate it to things like outflanking, alpha strike and gunline/horde.

Also talk about the three different types of deployments. Competitive gamers mention alot that if a player gets first in Dawn of War against hordes to deploy as far forward as possible... illustrate this and explain why.

Mission: What is the requirements of the BRB missions. What does this mean for your list/BT. Where would you place objectives? Use pictures.

Look around the interwebz for examples of tactics and show how to counter them or why they are a bad idea for BT players to do. Can find alot of the latter on BoLS...

Hope some of these give you ideas.

Perhaps you could write about the lore of the black templers, specially older lore that is not part of our codex.

Or you could take up the current fluff of the templers and how it works with other armies?

Or why not a bookreview of Helreach or other books about Black templars?

Otherwise I agree with Jonathon about topics :)

Must say that you so far have done a great work!

p.s and of course new battle reports are always welcome :)

Thus far, excellent suggestions. I really have wanted to do some deployment stuff, but it is difficult to do without photographic evidence. But I think I can probably manage with some extra models of mine. Gonna look into that one. Lots of opportunity there.

Yeah, I've been slacking on the battle reports. Which reminds me...I have to get my ass in gear and finish the one up there. I keep forgetting. :O
