In the previous post, I mentioned my desire to go a little...off the wall with my Nova Open list. I normally go balanced, but I want to turn some heads with some variety. Something they haven't seen before. I like to plan ahead, as that gives me the greatest amount of time for play-testing, depending on the mission parameters. Someone on B&C offered up the idea of Land Speeder Storm spam...and guess what? What was a simple idea...is now a full-scale obsession. Its happening.

Back to our regularly scheduled program! Its been awhile. Things have been in relative upheaval for me, but there is no longer anything I can do about it. Its tragic really. I'm incredibly distressed because of all of it. But alas...that is why coming back to Implausible Nature and the Black Templars is important. I enjoy helping others. So let's get at it eh? :) This is the official announcement of my attendance for the Nova Open 2015. I will be playing the Black Templars, obviously. I will also be playing Malifaux there. If you like skirmish based games, this is where you need to be looking. Anyway, I need to get a lot of games played in a very short amount of time. Fortunately, I have almost all of the miniatures needed to make this happen. I'm looking to play competitively, but I want to look outside of the conventional methods if possible. So I'm looking at builds. If the missions that Nova Open intends to use favor the Defensive Drop Pod list, then that is what I'll be running. If not, I'd like to have a backup plan. Certain things need to be fulfilled. Anti-air. Anti-tank. Anti-infantry. I'm also going to try to leverage the strengths of the Space Marine codex and Black Templars chapter. It'll be fun. I don't know what I'm going to go with yet, but I'll be taking everyone along for the ride. |
