UPDATED: July 21st, 2017

As many of you saw, yesterday the chapter tactics for all of the space marine chapters in the new codex were released.  And let me tell you, the outcry to the Emperor was overwhelming.  Sickening really...but that's neither here nor there.  Let's take a look at them.

Introspection: List Building Tendencies!

Hey everyone.  Today I want to talk about something that affects us all: bias in our list building.  Everyone does it, at least sub-consciously, to some extent.  Whenever we build a list, we're tailoring that army to our desires and needs in the Warhammer 40k game.  Whether that happens to be a preference towards close combat, shooting, or perhaps heavy mechanization, we're putting a force on the board that uses our play-style.  But the question is, are we allowing that bias to block our view of the better choices in our codices?

Public Service Announcement!

Hello everyone!  Just a quick message to everyone.  First, I have a ton of blog posts written and finished regarding 8th Edition that just need to be released.  Which was going to happen, but....then GW came out with the news we were getting our codex within the month.  Obviously, this complicates things as I don't want info coming out that is going to simply be invalidated in a few weeks.  Once I make the necessary changes to the posts when the codex comes out, they will be released.  Which leads me to announcement number two...

The Black Templars 101 is password protected.  Why?  Because it hasn't been re-written yet.  When these pages are finished, I will take the password wall down and they will be fully open to the public once more.  The password wall isn't an elite perk or anything like that, I just haven't finished updating the pages yet and I don't want old edition tactica "helping" players.  Rest assured, it won't be up long.
