Hello brethren!  As I promised, I made a vow in the Bolter and Chainsword forum's annual painting event.  Here is my first vow.


An eerie silence falls over the fortress and an sudden feeling of terror passed through the ranks of the Heretics.  Moments later, the sky darkens and dozens of drop pods slam down in front of helpless defenders, knocking them to the ground.  A lone figure emerges from the closest pod and stoically takes in the scene in front of him.  After a moment of silence, a deep voice reverberates across the battlefield.

"I, Marshal Laeroth of the Black Templars, am here to grant you the Emperor's Judgement.  Prepare to die."

The field erupts into chaos as the Heretics start to flee.

Marshal Laeroth turns to his brethren and declares: "Brothers, the Emperor demands we return this world to His light.  Leave none alive."


I, Marshal Laeroth, Master of the Njesta Crusade of the Black Templars, answer the call of E TENEBRAE LUX. I vow to complete:

• Marshal Laeroth (Chapter Master w/ Relic Blade, Shield Eternal, and Artificer Armour)  [225]
• Eternus Lux Lucis (Land Raider Crusader w/ Multi-Melta)  [260]

Total:  [485] points

These units shall be from Codex: Space Marines Black Templars, with a total value of 485 points, in the Emperor's Name. I vow to complete these units on, or
before, August 1st, 2014. Success will bring eternal glory to the Black Templars, whilst failure is not an option.


With that being said, while there are currently 42 Black Templar participates thus far in the competition, we need more!  We've already been split off of the other codex chapters, as our numbers are so strong...but our competition is stiff.  So if you're not involved in this event, you should definitely do so.  The Black Templars are uniting and we need all hands on deck!

Hello folks!  Good to be back!  This post is just a little update to the happenings and such future of Implausible Nature.  As you can probably tell, I'm here.  Lost in the Warp, but not dead.  My Crusade has found itself back in real-time and ready to commence the purging of the enemies of the Emperor!  Amongst other funsies.  ;)

But what does that mean Laeroth?!?!  Well, I'll tell you.  Blogging!  Whoo!  I'm sure a lot of you are happy to hear that.  Competitive blogging will definitely happen, but its going to be a little bit.  I have been out of the game for a while and I need to catch up on the new codices, update my army lists, get games in, etc.  However, there is a caveat to that.  I will not touch Escalation with a ten-foot pole.  Imperial Knights?  Okay.  I'm willing to budge on that, since they aren't exactly invincible.  But all of the other stuff is out.  Essentially, I'll be following the FAQ's of the major GT's around the country (primarily Nova Open) and adjust my list building/analysis as needed. 

With that being said, to start out with, my blogging is going to be mostly hobby-related to start off with.  I have models to paint and a willing significant other to join me in my efforts!  For those of you on Bolter and Chainsword, that means ETL vows!  Plus, while its second-hand from a family member, I am now in the possession of my first airbrush!  I'm very excited to learn how to use it.  :D

Also, as you all may have heard, rumors are exploding all over the place about 7th Edition being right around the corner...so guess what?  No BT 101 until that is released.  Sorry about missing the whole entire 6th Edition and not updating it.  But hey, life happens right?  Can't control the Warp.  Only rectify the issue once free of it!  However, it seems to me (looking at recent successful GT armies)...mechanized lists are doing well again.  I have a laugh a little bit, because I totally called that when 6th Edition came out. 

*Strokes ego a little bit* 

Anyway, I'll go report to my chaplains for penance for that comment now...  May the Emperor's Light guide you!
