Is going to be down for the foreseeable future.  Its obsolete anyway.  As I complete the new sections, I'll release them live once again.  Thank you for your patience and understanding.  And I hope you enjoy the updated versions!  :D

As a new-to-BT player (as in, a bunch of models that haven't been played with, or even assembled in some cases!), I also look forward to the updated tactica!

The even more fun part...Anytime in the next year or two it is all going to be obsolete again.

In other news, I'm mildly impressed with triple plasmagun bike squads, without attack bike. Mildly because while it takes an average of 9 S4 shots to kill a MEQ, it only takes 13.5 S4 shots to kill a biker (assuming BS4). True, for some situations the 5+ cover save is wonderful, but sticking with the basics of bolter & blade, the bike squads aren't that durable out by themselves.

OTOH, I'm still mildly impressed despite having played them somewhat badly as fast strike across the field, eat plasma fire, eat the knobby bike tires (HoW), eat the chainsword. With minimal cover. Which meant that outside of melee, in close proximity to the enemy, they die.

I need to work on something to pull on my opponent's nose harder so he is in position for the bikes to give him a boot up the arse. A four pod list might do the trick, using two pods empty or with something expendable inside...like maybe a Dreadnought or five TH/SS Terminators. Main thing is to get the pods blocking sight lines and movement.

I've been running 3 bikers with plasma guns, also a pimped up MoS on a bike, along with 5 drop pods, 3 containing terminators, the other 2 crusader squads, with either plasma gun/bolters or MM/MG and bolters. Not the entire list, but it has been playing very very well indeed!
