Hello all! The time for codex analysis is coming! But first, we need to do some list building. Because...that's fun right? Not to mention, I need to update my Nova Open list. Will I be going for a Gladius force? Not on short notice. However, I have plans for that type of list going forward. In the meantime, this looks fun. :)

Looking forward to your review. I haven't played 40k since the first weekend of 6th edition and I wanted to see if Templars have what it takes to be competitive before I buy the new book.

Competitive? Definitely. Formations give us access to some fun things, including the Combat Doctrines...while our chapter tactics give us the ability to actually function in close combat.

I have just finished putting together my BT army list. only problem is I cant decide out of the 3 lists I have, what to go for!

You can put both Gladius and Skyhammer in 1850. It's crasy.

Basically, the formation allows you to ignore all damage results against your Land Raiders except for explodes. It still loses its hull points, however. In addition, the Land Raiders are not Objective Secured.
