The Black Templars 101 is back!

I would be willing to bet my chainsword that if you are here, you know that 8th Edition is right around the corner.  The official release date has been confirmed to be on June 17th, 2017 and the Universe crackles in anticipation.  The whole game is getting a complete shakeup and every single codex is getting rewritten from the ground up.  We haven't seen something of this scale since 3rd Edition, but there was half of the armies.  So far, from what has been leaked by Games Workshop on their Facebook page, looks pretty good.  I am still undecided on the Primaris Marines, but that is a totally different story.  My Black Templar brethren seem to be decidedly against them for various reasons, but if they are decent statwise, I don't see a reason to cut ourselves down at the knees.  I don't really care for their new armor though. 

Nevertheless, let's get to the point here...the BT 101 guide!  It still blows me away how many hits this guide has, even though its several editions old.  It generates several emails a week and one of the most consistent requests I have received is to update this guide.  Guess what?  Its finally happening!  With the game getting completely reworked, with all fractions starting from scratch, what better time to get this guide back off the ground?  It will be an evolving piece of tactica, as no one player in the world will ever know how best to run a faction in the short period after release.  We still can get something going to help the new or returning Black Templars players out there.  It might generate some discussion or outside perspectives to further enhance it going into the future!
