Next up, by popular demand, I'm going to continue the trend of building CC-oriented lists in this article. Well, that isn't entirely true...but there is going to be at least one unit that does that job decently enough to be called a dedicated CC unit. However, as I mentioned in my video, I believe using allies gives us the best "balance" for an army. Seems like a waste to not use them, especially when they can fill so many holes, so let's take a look.
First off, Happy 4th of July to those in the United States. May you enjoy the festivities! ;)

Hello again! Had a few things on my mind, so decided to make a video about a few things about the Black Templars. Nothing specific for this one, just basic overviews. While I normally prefer putting everything down on "paper", so its easier to reference for people, a change every once in a while is nice. Hopefully you guys are able to follow my rambling. Beware, its 22 minutes long. :D Email: "They said that they are for sure intended to use the new rules from
the 6th ed book and the lack of that in the faq was an oversight on their part due to the speed at which all the faq's had to be put out. So typhoons are back!" *** I'm going to assume you have the 6th Edition rulebook and have seen the BT FAQ for the following article. ***
For context, I highly recommend you click this link to a thread on B&C and read it. For those that don't want to do that, I'll summarize for you. A large crop of the Black Templars, and pretty much every non-BT player, believe that the Black Templars got nerfed into the ground with the release of 6th Edition and the resulting FAQs. A knock-out punch, of sorts. This is primarily due to the change to the "Accept Any Challenge" Vow from Preferred Enemy, to the new Rage. In addition, the transport nerf which disallows charges the turn a unit disembarks (unless its an Assault Vehicle), looked like the end of close combat in Black Templars armies. |
